CHS students who are part of the basketball and FFA programs enjoyed a trip to Barton Community College to watch some Basketball. During the trip Haylee Miller had the opportunity to complete in the 3 point shootout at Halftime. She did so well she won pizzas for the group of 27 ! Way to go Haylee we are so glad you practice those, layups, free throws, and 3's!

Tonight's games are being lived streamed on Facebook.

Mr English will upload the recording later from our wonderful video Grapher Wyatt.

Wren Higgins, Freshman, went to Sylvan-Lucas UHS to perform in the SLUHS Forensic Invitational. Having to step in to fill in for a Serious Solo role as well as her own Humorous Solo, she adapted her own piece and wowed the judges with this new interpretation. She broke into finals and not only improved in her HSA piece, came away with a 4th place medal! Chase HS Forensics continues to roll through the season and gaining momentum!

They will all be helping out as we host the State Tournament coming up, so the season isn’t quite done! Coach English is very proud of all these intrepid young Kats and look forward to the future of Scholars here at Chase!

HS Forensics opened their season with a trip to Wakeeney in the Trego HS Invitational. Freshman Summer Bates and Wren Higgins performed in Serious Solo and Humorous Solo Interpretation pieces for the first time ever! Coach English couldn’t be prouder of the hard work and courage of these young ladies and is excited for the upcoming season! They will be taking their pieces to Sylvan-Grove on February 10th.
