Good morning all, we want to applaud everyone for their commitment to weights so far this summer. Attendance has been down the past few days, but it is still higher than it was all of last summer. I ask you to PLEASE continue to encourage your kids to come to the school Monday-Thursday at 7:30am to get better. Improvement happens during the summer. Our sports season are so game packed nowadays that the majority of the time you have to improve is during the offseason. Push yourselves now and see the results come the season!

Chase Raymond USD 401 Summer Lunch Program
The Summer Lunch Program is back! This year, children will receive both breakfast and lunch when they pick up their meals. Meals will be provided as grab-and-go breakfasts and lunches.
Open to all children and teens ages 1–18
No registration or identification required
June 1 – June 30, 2026
Monday through Friday
Information about the July program will be announced at a later date.

Senior Layd'n Hinderliter concludes his high school golf career at the Sand Green State meet in Mankato today with a score of 94.
Layd’n had a very successful high school golf career, qualifying for the State meet 3 years in a row. We are very proud of him and all of his hard work. Great job Layd'n!

Most of the tech team finished their season today at regionals in Greensburg. We had a good some good marks and times to finish off a successful season!
Emmabelle Bowen - threw her 2nd best discus throw of the year!
Sebastian Torres - threw his 3rd best javelin throw of the year!

Alyssa Beavers - ran for the first time this year back from injury.
Humberto Rincon - finished his high school career with a 10th place finish in Long Jump on a big PR, and a 12th place finish in the 100m in a super tough region. Ran his 2nd fastest 100m time of the season!
Malik Carson - is your Greensburg 1A Regional Champion in the Long Jump AND the 100m dash, and finished 2nd in the 200m to qualify for the State meet in ALL 3 EVENTS!
Super proud of this entire team!!! Keep cheering on Malik for the state meet next week!!

Regional running prelims update!!
Malik Carson starts the day off with a REGIONAL CHAMPION performance in the Long Jump at 22' 0.75" for his 2nd best just this year. He also goes 10.85 in the 100m prelims and 22.37 in the 200m prelims to break his school record again this year.
Humberto Rincon finishes his senior track season with a big PR in long jump for a 10th place finish, just missing finals, and a 12th place finish in the 100m dash for with his second best time this year.
Alyssa Beavers raced today in the 100m and 200m for the first time since her knee injury in basketball season.
Full results post to come tonight at the conclusion of the meet.

Beginning Saturday, May 23, the commercial featuring your Top of the Class student nominee, Riley Bowen, will begin airing periodically on KWCH and KSCW channels through early August.

We will have a summer activities meeting this Wednesday, May 20th at 6pm at Chase High School. Any junior high or high school students (entering grades 6-12) interested in attending summer weights, basketball skill work, or football skill work (as well as their parents) are encouraged to attend. This will include discussing the summer weights schedule, as well as the HS boys basketball and football schedule for the summer. If you have any questions or are unable to attend, contact Coach Bauman at 620-860-9553.
