Junior high football camp will be next week Monday-Thursday in Bushton from 6:30pm-8pm. Please contact Coach Bauman if your child would like to attend and we will arrange transportation.
Summer weights update -
Today was our lowest attendance day so far (though still better than any day last summer), which I take responsibility for not reminding people that today was our first day back from the moratorium.
Here is a reminder that we have 18 days left of summer weights! Please make it here or get your kids here for the rest of the summer. We have been doing such a great job so far! I will be sending updates to parents on each athletes attendance and how many days they need to be at to ensure they hit their 80, 90, or 100% marks. Another reminder that I am still running a make-up workout on every Friday at 9am for any days you have to miss. Thank you all for your commitment to improvement this summer! Go Kats!

An Update on the Little Kats Childcare Center! 🐾
The excitement is growing as we prepare to open the Little Kats Childcare Center! We are in the final stages of preparing our space and are nearly ready to welcome our youngest learners.
At this time, we are waiting on a few remaining items to be installed and for required visits and approvals from state agencies. Once those review dates are scheduled, we anticipate being in a short window before opening our doors.
The interview and hiring process for childcare staff will begin as soon as we receive the dates for the state reviews. We will also share enrollment information and our anticipated opening timeline as soon as it becomes available.
Thank you for your patience, support, and understanding as we work through this exciting new opportunity to serve our community. We can't wait to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our youngest community members and future Chase Kats!

Good morning all, we want to applaud everyone for their commitment to weights so far this summer. Attendance has been down the past few days, but it is still higher than it was all of last summer. I ask you to PLEASE continue to encourage your kids to come to the school Monday-Thursday at 7:30am to get better. Improvement happens during the summer. Our sports season are so game packed nowadays that the majority of the time you have to improve is during the offseason. Push yourselves now and see the results come the season!

U.S.D. 401 will open the FEMA shelter for today's severe weather if a Severe Thunderstorm warning is issued. Enter the shelter from Sunderland St. across from the playground at the double doors. We respectively ask you to only enter the FEMA room and avoid other areas of the school. Stay Safe !
