The RJH track team killed it again this week at their track meet in Plainville! The 8th grade boys finished 3rd place in team points with only 5 athletes, and all of them scored points towards that total!! The CHS Powerlifting Team competed at the K.E.M.F.A. State Powerlifting Meet for the first time in several years. While most of the team didn't have the day they wanted, and felt they left some lbs on the table, it was a successful and fun Saturday! We are proud of them for trying something new this year and continuing to strive for improvement. CHS Senior Layd'n Hinderliter shoots an 80 to take 3rd at the Chase County Golf Meet today and qualifies himself for the Sand Green State Golf Tournament for the 3rd straight year!!!

The 2026 Rice County Kids Safety Camp is scheduled for June 12, 2026, at Camp Wa Ja To, offering a free one-day event for children. The camp, often supported by Rice County EMS and local law enforcement, typically features safety education for kids in grades 4-6, with registration forms distributed through schools. Please contact the school if you need a registration form.
