CLP League Art Festival
Wednesday April 22 was Raining Kats and Dogs, our staff and students kicked it in gear and worked hard! This year our focus was helping to prepare a space for a new Childcare center for our community! 1st major physical milesone is move the library!

CHS Track traveled to Kingman yesterday for a pretty windy meet.
Malik Carson came home with 2nd in the 100m, 3rd in the 200m, and 1st in the long jump with a PR jump of 22' 1"!!!

Miss Cook, our kindergarten teacher, is excited to meet the students for the upcoming school year! Kindergarten Visitation Day 2026 will take place on Friday, April 24, 2026, and will be held throughout the entire day. All children eligible for kindergarten are invited to participate. The CHS Powerlifting Team competed at the K.E.M.F.A. State Powerlifting Meet for the first time in several years. While most of the team didn't have the day they wanted, and felt they left some lbs on the table, it was a successful and fun Saturday! We are proud of them for trying something new this year and continuing to strive for improvement.

CHS Senior Layd'n Hinderliter shoots an 80 to take 3rd at the Chase County Golf Meet today and qualifies himself for the Sand Green State Golf Tournament for the 3rd straight year!!!
The 2026 Rice County Kids Safety Camp is scheduled for June 12, 2026, at Camp Wa Ja To, offering a free one-day event for children. The camp, often supported by Rice County EMS and local law enforcement, typically features safety education for kids in grades 4-6, with registration forms distributed through schools. Please contact the school if you need a registration form.
