Our previous scooters had seen better days. Mrs. Staten has already doubled her lessons utilizing our new scooters. Thank you to the South Central Community Foundation for the funds granted to purchase six of the twelve needed scooters. Mrs. Staten would like to thank her admin team for helping cover the remaining costs for the full set. Per the students, "These scooters are so much faster!!!" This gift will continue to impact students at Chase-Raymond for many years to come!

Lady Kats Basketball only tonight. Chase takes on the Golden Belt Arrows at 6:00 pm in the CHS gym. Come support the Lady Kats!!!

The Raymond basketball game against Burrton has been cancelled for tomorrow, January 26, due to weather conditions. We currently don't know any details on rescheduling.

Gas Leak Update 10:22 a.m. Kansas Gas has given the all-clear to begin returning students to the building. School will resume normal activity shortly. Please direct any questions to the offices at Chase Grade School or Chase High School.

Attention: there is no Junior High Basketball practice today, Friday, January 23, 2026.

A strong gas smell has been detected at the high school. All students and staff have been safely moved to the grade school. Kansas Gas and the Chase Fire Department are attending the situation.

SCHEDULE CHANGE: Chase High School basketball games at Pretty Prairie on Friday, January 23rd have been moved up due to incoming weather. Girls will play at 12:30 and boys will follow at about 2:00.

The RJH Boys Basketball team put in a show last night and won their game against Fairfield 38-24! Congratulations to Coach Evan and the boys!!

Chase Grade School and Raymond Junior High Spelling Bee was held today. The top 4 spellers will go to the Rice County Spelling Bee at Sterling High School on Saturday, February 21st.
Top grade school spellers were: Alivia Rush, 1st; Alia Smith, 2nd; Ava Alcorn, 3rd; Arya Koppa, 4th; and Zahriah VanAvery, alternate.
Top junior high spellers were: Kenya Campuzano, 1st; Gage Ukens, 2nd; Charlotte Black, 3rd; Nevaeh Carter, 4th; and Bentley Poe, alternate.

Congratulations to all of the contestants for a job well done.

Raymond Junior High is hosting the CPL Tournament on Saturday, January 10th. Games begin at 8:00 am.

The powerlifting team had their first meet at Valley Falls HS. Everyone got top 4 in at least one lift. Dominick got 4 medals (bench - 1st, squat - 2nd, clean - 3rd, overall - 2nd) Malik got 4 (bench - 2nd, squat - 2nd, clean - 3rd, overall - 2nd) Harmony also got 3rd in clean.
