TIME CHANGE: The 5th grade Wax Museum will be at 12:45 instead of 1:15 at the Chase High School Gym on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.
Calendar Changes for Chase Grade School. Monday, May 8 will be the 5th grade DARE Graduation at 6 PM in the CGS lunchroom. The Kindergarten Promotion will be at the beginning of the PreK - 3rd grade Music Program in the CHS gym, starting at 7 PM.
The Kats 4N6 team made it a complete sweep for the team with the final member, Kaiya Higgins, earning a spot at the State Speech & Drama Championships on May 6th with a commanding performance and bringing back a 1st place medal at the Nickerson Invitational! It's a GREAT day to be a Chase Kat!
Another great day for the Kats! Garrett Brady placed 3rd in the varsity meet! Layd'n made it back to back winning the JV for second week!! It was windy and hot, i was really proud of the boys for battling through the adverse conditions

Chase Forensics was represented at the Regional Forensics Festival at Central Plains High School on Saturday by Junior Kaiya Higgins who performed her Informative speech about Emotional Support Animals. She earned a I ranking, the highest ranking achievable, and earned her the right to perform at the State Forensics Festival on Saturday, May 6th! She will perform one last time on Tuesday at the Nickerson Last Chance Invitational for the chance to qualify for State Championship. All the members of the Chase forensics team have qualified for a spot at State and they are very excited to finish their season strong and represent Chase with pride!

Raining Kats & Dogs - Friday April 21- All students will be participating in Raining Kats and Dogs. The students are split up into groups to go out in the community to help clean up our community. We are asking that all students wear weather appropriate clothing, pants/shorts, tennis shoes, please not sandals or flip flops, sunscreen, and hats. Please have your child bring a water bottle with their name on it.

The Natural Resources class constructed a bat house to be utilized on USD 401 grounds - combining classroom work with real life applications.
The seventh grade made roller coaster learning about potential energy turning into kinetic energy. We also studied inertia and Newton's :Laws of Motion

Yesterday they had their district livestock judging contest and placed 11th out of 30 teams.
Last Week they Judged 12 Classes and gave 4 sets of reasons! On Cattle, Sheep, Goats, and swine. Breeding and Markets for both species plus bulls.
