This year, our K-12 PE teacher, Sarah Staten, took a leap and applied for and received the $5,000 grant from the South Central Community Foundation. This grant allowed the purchase of 30 bicycles, 100 helmets, and necessary items for maintenance. The goal is to incorporate cycling into the PE curriculum, distribute helmets to students without one, and provide bicycles for use during our annual bike ride to Raymond.
