Welcome Back
Our returning teacher, Mr. Frost, has finally come back after some time away from school. He is ready and happy for all the new challenges that he has now, and glad to be at the school with his friends. Since it's been some time back, he’s glad to say that “He's happy for all the help and support from staff and the students.” His dog has also helped keep him calm since he’s been back. He has no new challenges in mind since the last teacher left a big assignment for them. When he got back, he realized how much he missed all the little conversations with his students as well as with other teachers around him. The one challenge he says that would be for him would be all the future projects he has for his students and teaching them.

The Tale Nook
Tony and John went to Mt. Rushmore. Once they arrived, they skied down George Washington’s face like it was a giant snow slide. They dove off Abraham Lincoln’s nose into a sparkling pool of water below. John painted on Thomas Jefferson’s face, giving him a bright, silly clown grin. Tony placed roses on Theodore Roosevelt and announced, “His last name shall be Rose!”
Tony and John were having the time of their lives—until the park rangers found them. Just as they were about to be taken away, their friend Dave swooped in to help. Dave the unicorn, with rainbow wings beating the air, lifted them up and carried them to safety.

Paul Coffman
Paul Coffman visited Chase High School on November 15th, 2025. He came to talk to us about his life, what he has accomplished, and the challenges he has faced so far.
Paul Coffman graduated from Chase in 1974 and played in the NFL for 11 years. He believes that no matter the limitations, they shouldn’t keep you from pursuing your dreams. Just because you don’t want to do something doesn’t mean you don’t have to do it. Start forming winning habits now, rather than later, so you can become better now. Pay attention, and don’t give up.

Chase Basketball
Chase High School’s basketball season has officially started, and their first high school game is coming up on Monday. The high school team will be heading to the Natoma Middle School gym for a jamboree—kind of like the football one, except this time it’s for basketball. This will actually be the first basketball jamboree that Chase has ever gone to. Just like in football, the jamboree won’t count as an actual game; it’s more like a practice.
The elementary and junior high teams have already begun their seasons, and as of yesterday, the junior high team picked up their first win against Macksville. There will be three teams playing at the Natoma gym for the jamboree, which is fewer than the football jamboree where you play four games. The high school’s first real game will be in December against Kinsley.
So far, none of the players are ineligible, so the team should have everyone available for the jamboree on Monday and the games after that. Afterward, they’ll get a break because of Thanksgiving. We’ll see how the season goes as all the teams keep progressing throughout the year.
